MPTS returns this year with expanded exhibition

The Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) will return to the Grand Hall at Olympia London on 13–14 May 2026 for its 10th anniversary edition.

The 2026 event will feature an expanded exhibition, an extended seminar programme, and new content areas introduced to reflect developments across media production, post-production, broadcast, and technology, according to organisers.

Organisers expect more than 300 exhibitors to participate across the show floor. Confirmed exhibitors include Appear, EditShare, EVS, Imagine Communications, LucidLink, Sony, Videndum and Zixi, with additional companies such as Grass Valley, Philips and Red Bee Media joining the event for the first time.

Red Bee Media has been confirmed as an official partner for the 2026 show. As part of the partnership, the company will sponsor a networking area on the upper level of the venue, named the MPTS Pub Garden sponsored by Red Bee Media, which will be accessible throughout the event.

New feature areas will be introduced for the anniversary edition. A Creator Hub will include a stage and lounge dedicated to creator-focused topics, including short-form video, platform development, monetisation, and brand collaborations.

Post Production World Conference Europe will be held in partnership with Future Media Conferences for the first time at MPTS. The programme will include paid workshops led by certified instructors, covering artificial intelligence, post-production, motion graphics, visual effects, content creation, and business development. Maxon has been confirmed as the first sponsor of the conference.

The SMPTE Media Technology Conference Europe will also expand in 2026, moving to a larger ground-floor space to accommodate additional technical sessions and attendees.

A live podcast studio will be introduced at the show, providing demonstrations of podcast production and discussions around on-demand audio.

The upper level of the Grand Hall will be further expanded to include additional meeting spaces, informal work areas, and networking zones.

Organisers have also confirmed the continuation of wellbeing and accessibility provisions, including a SensoryCalm™ space delivered in partnership with EventWell.

Charlotte Wheeler, Director of MPTS, said: “MPTS 2026 will see some of our most ambitious developments yet, from new stages and live experiences to expanded networking and wellbeing spaces. At its core, MPTS remains about bringing the community together, creating an environment that inspires creativity, collaboration and meaningful connection across media production and technology.”
